I am looking forward to attending NERFA 2013. This is my second year attending this event at the beautiful Hudson Valley Resort in Kerhonkson, NY. These conferences are special events, as they are a rare opportunity to meet and interact with a large group of fellow artists and other industry people for a few days. The showcases are a fantastic opportunity to discover new talent, see old favorites or finally get to hear someone that you really wanted to hear. The magic though happens after hours, in the late night chats (like, real chats, in person, not on some kind of device) or impromptu jam sessions.

This is my second time attending, and having gone to SERFA this spring, the number of friends I am looking forward to seeing there is growing exponentially.
